Specialist personal injury barristers working across the UK
3PB covers the full range of Personal Injury claims including public liability, industrial disease, employers’ liability, armed forces, occupiers’ liability, transport, travel and RTA claims. The set has 34 personal injury barristers - and 2 pupil barristers - able to conduct cases at every level, from the simplest to the most complex, high-value claims.
We act both for employers and employees in relation to industrial accidents, industrial disease (including asbestos related and other respiratory diseases, carcinogens, noise induced hearing loss and work related upper limb disorders) assaults at work and claims involving psychological injury through harassment, bullying and stress at work.
As a specialist personal injury team in chambers, we have a long track record in a variety of specialist areas including child abuse (advising local authorities and other institutional defendants as well as individual claimants), deliberate injury (including physical and sexual assault and homicide), injury caused by animals, injury suffered during sporting or leisure activities and holiday claims.
Members of the team offer expertise in marine accidents, including both convention claims for passengers and employees injured at sea and also in claims involving air and rail transport.
Our team includes a large number of barristers who act in catastrophic injury claims, from brain and spinal cord injury to mesothelioma and in claims involving cross jurisdictional issues.
Clients include both claimants and defendants. Chambers routinely acts for law firms, local authorities, insurers, self-insured companies and trade unions. Our work for insurers includes cases where there are dishonest or fraudulent claims and on policy litigation.
The breadth and depth of our experience enables us to offer appropriate Counsel for any value of claim. Most members will act under conditional fee arrangements in appropriate cases and we have team members available to work out of any of our six offices in London, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Oxford and Winchester whether for face-to-face meetings or using our state-of-the-art technology for remote meetings.
