Overview

Lucy Bill joined 3PB in April 2023, to undertake a specialist, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence 12-month pupillage.

A First Class LLB graduate from Queen's University Belfast, with an American Business Administration Certificate from Mary Baldwin University, Lucy is also a BPP Career Commitment Scholarship holder, a Washington Ireland Program Alumna and an Oxford University Press Moot Grand Finalist and Runner Up in 2021.

Called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2022, Lucy represented the Inn in the Cambridge IV International Debate Competition.

She worked as a consumer law student adviser with the Hackney Law Centre, a housing law drop-in clinic advisor and a benefits assistant whilst studying. This included working with Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP on a breach of contract claim arising from a commercial agreement between the client and Santander Consumer (UK) Plc and an advice (involving a Part 20 Defendant application against Mercedes-Benz Retail Group UK Limited), Draft Order and Claim Form, and N244 Application Notice for the client. Lucy has had to handle difficult clients and cases; showing great listening skills and rapport with clients.

More recently she has been working as a paralegal with F-LEX and been a legal intern with law firms such as Pinsent Masons, Allen & Overy and A&L Goodbody.
