Having reviewed government guidance on 4 January 2021, 3PB continues to follow protocols about the third national lockdown for Covid-19 in encouraging staff and barristers to work from home wherever possible. The Courts remain open and 3PB remains fully open and able to deal with all your cases and matters as needed.
We continue to operate our six offices with limited resources and a specific protocol for clients and other visitors, barristers and staff. You must contact us first on the numbers below or through your usual contact if you are planning on coming to a 3PB office or need to meet one of our members. Face-masks are mandatory in the common areas of chambers and in meeting rooms, unless you are in a exempt group. You will be asked to take a temperature test on arrival.
We continue to prefer to take instructions electronically and to maintain much of our usual work using technology. 3PB have been actively investing in our technology over the previous 3 years, are completely able to operate remotely, and to access video and other communications links used by the courts and other organisations.
Our staff and counsel are available on the usual numbers and email addresses. Further contact details are below.
Communication and paperwork
3PB's priority is always our clients. In order to help us help you as quickly and efficiently as possible, wherever possible please send documentation and paperwork electronically to the clerks. Where hard copy must be used; please liaise with the clerking team before sending as we will arrange for your papers to be sent directly to counsel or suggest alternative arrangements. Please note that paperwork delivered in hard copy will be cleaned.
Conferences and calls
Chambers continues to rely on its excellent video calling technology and audio conferencing facilities which has been fully operational for some time. We are very pleased that we have – since lockdown was first announced in March 2020 – been able to use our technology platforms to continue to support our clients. We have been able to accommodate the vast majority of requests for phone, video calls and conferences. All of our barristers can be reached by email on firstname.surname@3pb.co.uk .
Payments
Please continue to make your payment wherever possible direct to our bank account via BACS. This will ensure no delay in the availability of counsel to support you.
