3PB’s Crime and Regulatory Crime team tops the Legal 500’s rankings
2nd October 2026
3PB’s Crime and Regulatory Crime team has retained its top tier ranking for Crime (General and Fraud) in the Western Circuit with a total of 13 rankings. The group is delighted to welcome its first individual ranking for Crime (General and Fraud) in the Midlands.
Our practitioners remain ranked in tier 2 for Business and Regulatory Crime (incl. Health and Safety) also in Western.
Across the 3 categories of Crime (General and Fraud) Western and Midlands, Crime (incl. Health and Safety) Western, and Fraud: Crime London, the team has achieved a total of 18 individual rankings.
The Legal 500 acknowledges our Criminal practitioners for the ‘complex and high-profile criminal cases [they are instructed on] across both the Western and London Circuits.’
The group’s ‘strength in health and safety and regulatory law’ is highlighted, particularly in respect of ‘advising and representing clients in both criminal and civil proceedings, including multi-party appeals. Members of the team act for companies, individuals and regulators in cases ranging from regulatory breaches in the magistrates’ courts to serious matters in the Crown Court and appellate courts, frequently involving workplace fatalities, fire safety issues and exposure risks. The set is also regularly instructed in coroners’ inquests arising from fatal accidents.’
Joint head of team Tom Horder commented: "I am delighted that the latest Legal 500 latest edition continues to recognise the quality of the work our crime practitioners strive to always deliver, supported by our clerks. I wish to thank our clients for taking the time to feedback to the researchers: their comments are very much appreciated.”
