Four 3PB barristers secure acquittals for two defendants in major Conspiracy to Supply cocaine trial

3PB criminal and PI barrister Oliver Hirsch recently appeared in the Court of Appeal, in a challenge to his client's sentence for breach of a restraining order. The appeal succeeded, with the sentence being reduced by nearly one third, from 58 months to 40. Oliver Hirsch, criminal law and personal injury barrister at 3PB Barristers (3 Paper Buildings) discusses the abolition of the 12-month sentencing powers given to magistrates last year.
