Adam Feest QC and Jodie Mittell of 3PB prosecute in manslaughter case

Adam Feest QC, Head of 3PB's Crime Group, led 3PB criminal law barrister Jodie Mittell in the successful prosecution of a murder case at Winchester Crown Court.

The defendant pleaded guilty to manslaughter and accepted that he had stabbed an unarmed man twice. He was sentenced to 11 years in a young offenders’ institute. At the conclusion of the sentence hearing on 6th October 2016, Sweeney J observed that this had been a difficult case and he thanked counsel for the sensitive way in which it had been conducted.
