David Richards (pictured here), Head of 3PB Marine Group, together with Andrew Oliver, Marine Lawyer from Hull, are the Consultant Editors for volume 51 Halsbury’s Laws: Fisheries and Aquaculture 2022.

The volume covers in great detail regulation of fishing and the environment at sea, inshore and in fresh water. It contains a detailed review of statute and subordinate legislation including Sea Fisheries Act 1968, Fisheries Act 1981, Merchant Shipping Act 1995, Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1973 and statutory instruments thereunder.

It is up to date with all recent case law on these areas.

The volume addresses regulations and enforcement to protect the environment and fishing stocks in the coastal, deep sea and inland waters environment whether by the Marine Management Organisation, Inshore Fisheries Conservation Authorities, the MCGA or local authorities. It is a comprehensive statement of all the relevant statute and case law and represents a primary resource for anyone concerned with fisheries law including those who work in the deep sea, on the coasts, in estuaries or rivers and for those regulating activities across these environments.

The full volume can be found here.
