3PB reviews the Family Courts during lockdown in Family Law Week

23rd June 2020

3PB’s specialist family law barrister Alex HodgeAlex HodgeCall: 2009 has reviewed the fairness of a judicial system in which hearings are conducted remotely in an article just published in Family Law Week. Since the 23rd March 2020, the UK has been under strict lockdown measures. These measures introduced different ways of working for the legal industry and since then most family Court matters have been heard remotely.

In Family Law Week, Alex writes about the challenges faced and reflects on issues raised by the President of the Family Division, Sir Andrew McFarlane, when he addressed the profession about the family justice system since he took over in November 2018.
