Sarah Langford balances a busy common law practice and is instructed in a range of criminal, family, personal injury and other civil law.

Within her criminal practice she regularly appears in the Magistrates’ and Crown Court. She has also represented serving prisoners at Prison Adjudication Hearings. In her civil practice, Sarah acts for claimants and defendants in both small and fast track claims at all stages of proceedings, particularly in personal injury and family work. Other civil practice includes bankruptcy proceedings, contractual disputes and possession claims.

Background and Interests

Sarah originally hails from Winchester, from where her practice is based, and now lives in London – thereby allowing her to undertake work all over the Western Circuit and in London. She also undertakes work in Oxford, Reading and other areas on the South Eastern Circuit.

She is a member of Gray’s Inn, for whom she ran the Debating Society and from whom she received the Wilfred Getz Scholarship whilst completing her BVC.

Sarah is also an active member of the Western Circuit, the Family Law Association and the Criminal Bar Association.

Her interests include art, theatre, jazz music and travelling.
