Philip Alden joined 3PB Barristers as the Direct Access Practice Manager in January 2022 and is responsible for leading the clerking support for direct and public access.

Philip has clerked throughout the South West and in London, having started his clerking career in the 80s. He was formerly Senior Clerk at Old Square Chambers, Colleton Chambers, Lamb Chambers and was Senior Civil Clerk at Guildhall Chambers.

He is a qualified member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks.

Away from Chambers, his interests include skiing, football, golf and contemporary art.
