Costs
Jeremy Warner has a strong costs practice and has attended several CCMCs and been given delegated authority to negotiate on budgets in both the County Court and High Court. He has appeared in front of the Masters at the RCJ (most recently in front of Master Sabic KC) on various occasions with budgets valued in the hundreds of thousands.
He has also advocated in a number of costs disputes where CPR 27.14(2)(g) is engaged. He has drafted skeleton arguments on the same. He has also experience in general summary assessment of costs at the end of interim applications (which do not attract fixed costs) and where Part 36 indemnity costs are engaged.
He has also attended multiple costs hearing relating to third party costs order pursuant to CPR 46 and Tescher v Direct Accident Management Limited [2025] EWCA Civ 733.
