Ian Edge speaks on sharia law to HNW private clients and advisers at Citywealth Forum

3PB's Ian Edge, an Islamic/Shari’a law specialist and an expert on the laws of the Middle East, will be speaking at the upcoming Citywealth Forum on 12th May at The Nobu Hotel, 22 Portman Square, London W1.
The Citywealth Forum brings together prominent leaders from the private wealth management sector to discuss key issues impacting ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) and wealth management professionals. The Forum will see leading wealth management professionals, private client lawyers and trust experts discussing global tax, estate planning, family law and philanthropy in a one-day intensive agenda and bespoke wealth forum. Ian is discussing the crossroads of Sharia and Common Law, Jewish law and other religious laws. The panel session looks at unexpected pitfalls, from forced heirship conflicts to cross-border enforceability issues.
