Top arbitrator and litigator David Parratt KC joins 3PB

3PB Head of Chambers David Berkley KC is delighted to announce that barrister and former Advocate David Parratt KCDavid Parratt KC (Scot)Call: 1999Silk: 2017 (call: 1999/Silk: 2017) has joined full-time from Arnot Manderson Chambers in Scotland, having previously been a door tenant with the national chambers.

David (pictured here) is a leading counsel for international and UK arbitrations and also has experience acting as arbitrator. He is renowned for his work in commercial, construction, engineering and energy disputes. He has acted in many of the biggest arbitration cases for leading blue-chip clients.

David is a CEDR Accredited Mediator, a Chartered Arbitrator, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and is Honorary Professor of International Arbitration at the University of Aberdeen. He is also highly sought-after by law firms and business networks for his advocacy skills training and legal briefings.

David has extensive court and arbitral experience and in the last 18 months has been lead counsel in multi-million pound claims, including  a large LCIA arbitration between a Scottish company and a US Oil Major in respect of oil and gas parts and IPR; LMAA Arbitration in a dispute of the charter of a superyacht and as sole arbitrator in a documents-only arbitration between an international credit card company and a debtor, and as sole arbitrator in respect of a commercial lease dispute between two commercial companies.
