Lieutenant Oliver TribeOliver TribeCall: 2026 begins his 12-month crime and regulatory crime pupillage in Winchester. Once successfully completed, Oliver will return to the armed services for further employment as a naval barrister with Navy Legal Services.  He has just spent two weeks’ marshalling at Portsmouth and Southampton Crown Courts and a week assisting the Service Prosecutor at the Military Court Centre, Bulford. Oliver's initial pupil supervisor is Tom Horder, who co-heads 3PB's Tier 1 Crime and Regulatory Crime Group. Oliver becomes the 14th armed services pupil to do a 12-month pupillage with the national chambers.

For the last nine years, Oliver has been a Logistics Officer in the Royal Navy based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, where he has had broad experience across various operational sea-going and non-operational staff assignments, including being Deputy Logistics Officer on HMS KENT which was part of the inaugural 8-month UK Carrier Strike Group deployment. A former maths teacher, Oliver taught secondary school students for three years in both a private and state school.

3PB has had a longstanding commitment to supporting armed services pupillages within the national chambers, having first begun its programme in 2013. Oliver replaces the most recent armed services pupil, Alex Jurczynski, who returned to his commission as a Captain in the Army Legal Services after completing his pupillage in April this year.
