Oliver Nunn and Danielle Gotts St. Clair offer guidance to housing practitioners following the introduction of Respect Orders

3PB Barristers’ (3 Paper Buildings) specialist housing and property barristers Oliver Nunn and Danielle Gotts St. Clair have written on the recent amends to the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 introducing the “respect order”.
In their article, entitled “Oh Baby Please… Give a little Respect: The Introduction of Respect Orders in the effort to tackle Anti-social Behaviour”, Oliver and Danielle delve into the differences between the new order and the pre-existing housing injunctions, including behaviour thresholds, the application and enforcement processes and how practitioners can identify which approach is best for when dealing with a persistent perpetrator.
