Michelle Marnham and Sharan Sanghera re-appointed as leaders of its talented PI and Clinical Negligence teams

3PB Barristers are delighted to announce the re-appointment of Michelle Marnham (pictured here, left) as head of its PI and Clinical Negligence teams. Michelle, who was first elected in 2021, will continue to be supported by Sharan Sanghera (pictured here, right) who continues as Deputy Head of the teams, a role she has held since 2022. 3PB now boasts 40 personal injury barristers and 31 clinical negligence barristers.

Michelle is regularly instructed in cases with technical aspects on liability and in a wide variety of employers’ liability, Highways Act Claims and RTA claims. Her clinical negligence practice includes expertise dealing with brain; neo-natal and birth defect claims; orthopaedics and sepsis. Consistently ranked as a top personal injury and clinical negligence barrister, Michelle is described as "a real star" and "excellent at dealing with clients in high-value claims involving unusual liability and quantum issues."(Chambers UK, 2026) and "extremely capable" and a "formidable negotiator who is very good on her feet in court" (Legal 500, 2026).

Sharan SangheraSharan SangheraCall: 2009 acts for both claimants and defendants in personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Her busy practice includes a particular expertise in insurance fraud litigation and Sharan is regularly representing defendant insurers in claims where allegations of dishonesty arise and is highly valued for her strategic approach to operational claims. Sharan has vast trial experience of claims involving opportunistic or staged road traffic collisions and also frequently represents claimants in multi-track claims where injuries are permanent and life-changing, particularly employer’s liability and occupier’s liability claims.
