3PB Barristers (3 Paper Buildings) are delighted to announce that former family solicitor David Beatson – who qualified as a solicitor in 2017 with a well-known law firm in the South-West of England - has become a tenant with the national chambers. David will continue to specialise in family law, principally public and private law disputes concerning children.

David was accredited by the Law Society in Children Law after a short period of time post-qualification, allowing him to represent children in court proceedings. He is a highly sought-out barrister to act for children, parents and other family members in particularly complex care, adoption, secure accommodation proceedings and private law disputes concerning children. David appears almost daily in court in a vast number of diverse family and children law cases and has developed a reputation as an extremely proficient advocate with an in-depth knowledge of the law and procedure.

Vanessa Meachin KC, who heads 3PB's 80-strong Family Law Group, said: “We welcome David to 3PB and he will be a great addition to our family and specialist children law teams in the South West and across 3PB's five other centres."
