Danielle Gotts St. Clair and Emma Shiels to judge International Women’s Day competition at Nottingham Law School
26th March 2026

3PB is supporting the annual Mooting Competition organised by Nottingham Law School's Mooters' Guild to celebrate International Women’s Day, taking place on Thursday 26th March 2026.
The moot sees students debate consent to harm and whether a piercing can amount to female genital mutilation. The moot problem was written by Alexandra Madaras.
3PB’s Danielle Gotts St. Clair and Emma Shiels will be serving as judges for this year’s moot. Danielle founded the competition in 2019 when she was a NLS student.
The competition aims to empower young female advocates in celebration of International Women’s Day and to provide an excellent opportunity to practice their oral advocacy and legal research skills.
