CoP Comm Episode 2 live now

The second episode of CoP Comm, 3PB Barristers’ (3 Paper Buildings) court of protection and community care podcast is now available.
Hosted by Matthew Wyard, each episode covers two or three topics of current awareness, latest jurisprudence, and pointers for practice.
The latest episode provides a round-up of recent court of protection and community care news, as well as delving into three important cases decided in January 2023: Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust & Lancashire County Council & AH [2023] EWCOP 1, NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board & JH [2023] EWCOP 2 and Sunderland City Council v Macpherson [2023] EWCOP 3.

Matthew Wyard is an experience public law barrister. He has a particular interest in health, education and community care disputes, alongside those involving data protection. Matthew acts regularly for Central and Local Government, public authorities and individuals, and is appointed to the Attorney General’s C Panel of Counsel to the Crown.
