Inquests
Febienne specialises in personal injury, clinical negligence and inquests.
Prior to joining 3PB, Febienne studied healthcare law and mental health law and wrote her master's dissertation on disability discrimination in medical law, with a focus on Down Syndrome cases. Febienne gained experience in clinical negligence, working on birth injury cases, which included attending joint settlement meetings, multidisciplinary expert conferences and conducting significant medical record reviews, medical research and taking witness statements of traumatic events. In doing so, Febienne has developed a strong grounding in medical practice and procedures.
Febienne completed her pupillage at an in-house specialist personal injury and costs law firm. Febienne's expertise already exceeds that of her peers, as she has undertaken more complex trial and advisory work from the outset. Febienne is regularly instructed in a wide range of interlocutory applications, fast-track and intermediate-track trials.
Whilst at 3PB, Febienne has developed her inquest practice. Febienne's background in medical and healthcare law, her methodical preparation, and excellent client care and witness-handling skills make her well-suited to inquest proceedings, acting for both bereaved families and public bodies.
