The Bar’s legal advice and representation charity Advocate has launched a new online platform for its volunteering scheme Bar in the Community.

Bar in the Community enables barristers and chambers’ professionals to support local and national charities, causes and communities through volunteering their professional skills and support. From becoming a trustee or committee member to advising on legislation and facilitating training and workshops, Bar in the Community offers legal professionals the opportunity to volunteer their time to causes mean the most to them.

Bar in the Community’s new website makes it simple for volunteers to find opportunities for every skill set on both a national and local level. To learn more and browse Bar in the Community’s current opportunities, please click here.
