Mock Inquest hosted by 3PB, Hodge Jones & Allen and East of England Ambulance Services
30th July 2026

3PB Barristers were pleased to co-host a Mock Inquest with East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors, bringing together healthcare professionals, police officers, legal practitioners and advocates for an engaging and insightful training exercise. Sunyana Sharma acted as the Coroner and Kim Wilson represented Essex Police, helping to provide attendees with a realistic and practical insight into coronial proceedings.
The event provided attendees with a realistic insight into coronial proceedings, exploring the practical and legal issues that can arise during an inquest. Through witness evidence, judicial questioning and legal submissions, participants gained valuable experience of the inquest process and the important role it plays in promoting learning and accountability.
It was encouraging to see such a strong turnout and level of engagement throughout the day, with constructive discussions highlighting the value of collaborative training between healthcare providers and legal professionals.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the event such a success, particularly Holly Morley at East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Jack Foran and Mandhir Seera from Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors for their collaboration and expertise.
