Nicole Bollard and Mark Wilden appear in Court of Appeal

Members of 3PB’s intellectual property team are appearing in Court of Appeal today in a number of cases.

Nicole BollardNicole BollardCall: 2012 is representing the defendants, instructed by Loney Stewart Holland, in a dispute with The Northern Block Limited. The claimant says the company continued using her typeface work without paying her after their agreement ended in 2022. A 2023 court decision recognised her rights, and in 2024 she brought new claims for unpaid royalties and breach of that agreement. The judge refused summary judgment, and only a small claim (under £10,000) remains.

Mark WildenMark WildenCall: 2018 is representing the defendants, instructed by DAC Beachcroft LLP. This dispute is between Titan Wealth Services Ltd, Titan Asset Management Ltd, and Tavistock Investments Plc. It relates to a 2021 business deal and fund management agreement. Titan claims the others acted unfairly and damaged its funds, while Tavistock says Titan mismanaged the funds and misused confidential information. The Court rejected a challenge to its authority and ordered indemnity costs.
