Alice Horn appointed Rapporteur to the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (SIFoCC)
3rd November 2025

3PB's commercial litigation and arbitration barrister Alice Horn has been selected to serve as Rapporteur at the 6th Full Meeting of the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (SIFoCC), taking place tomorrow and Sunday in New Delhi, India, and hosted by the Delhi High Court.
The event is attended by senior jurists from around the globe. Fifty-nine jurisdictions, across 6 continents, will be represented, including specialist commercial courts, as well as some of the established and developing commercial jurisdictions, many of whom share a Commonwealth background.
The 6th Full Meeting will feature sessions on key topics affecting the global community of commercial courts, including artificial intelligence in legal systems, common standards and approaches to global disputes, corporate legal responsibility and commercial law issues in new global contexts, international enforcement, and the future of commercial dispute resolution.
Alice’s appointment has been approved by SIFoCC's Steering Group - which includes Sir Geoffrey Vos, Sir William Blair and Lord Thomas of Cwngedd - to act as the meeting's Rapporteur, in which capacity she will be attending each of the sessions and reporting back on them to the broader membership, as well as preparing the 6th Annual Meeting Report, which will be available early next year.
Commenting on the appointment, Alice said: As a barrister with a strong focus on global commercial litigation, I am delighted to be entrusted with this role. I have had the pleasure of being involved with SIFoCC since my time at the High Court. I look forward to hearing the views of world’s top commercial judges about the challenges facing their courts, and their views and suggestions for improvements to, and best practice in, commercial litigation both globally and within their jurisdictions."
