3PB welcomes four new pupil barristers

National chambers 3 Paper Buildings (3PB Barristers) has welcomed four new pupil barristers to its 230-strong barrister ranks today.

The four pupils starting their twelve-month pupillages, pictured left to right from the top, are: former in-house energy lawyer Poppy WatsonPoppy WatsonCall: 2021  who will be focusing on commercial litigation and arbitration; former in-house lawyer and domestic violence and disability campaigner Liz AdamsLiz AdamsCall: 2021 who will be focusing on family law alongside property/other civil areas; former law firm PA Emma GreeningEmma GreeningCall: 2022 who will be focusing on employment and property law; and former academic Dr Angel Matoke-NjagiDr Angel Matoke-NjagiCall: 2022 who will be focusing on criminal and family law.

This year's pupil intake will benefit from 3PB's announcement of its increased pupillage award to £35,000 - which increases to £40,000 for next year's pupil recruits; and this new cohort will be joined by three additional pupil barristers next April. The full-service national chambers - recently named by The Lawyer as the UK’s fastest growing chambers in the Bar Top 30 - now recruits six pupil barristers each year.
