3PB family barrister Steven Howard delivers popular lecture series

Steven Howard has recently finished delivering a lecture series to child protection professionals in Dorset.
In April 2019 Steven delivered a seminar to Aspire Adoption to train social workers dealing with adoption on applications brought by parents seeking to discharge placement orders or oppose adoption orders.
This was followed by a lecture jointly developed and delivered with Zara Hanson, solicitor at Dorset Council, to approximately 70 social workers to provide training on managing care cases involving learning disabled parents.
In July 2019 Steven presented a seminar to Bournemouth CAFCASS on witness anonymity in care proceedings.
To complete this lecture series, Steven delivered a seminar to Aspire Adoption social workers to provide training on assessment of family members in care proceedings and preparation of Special Guardianship Assessments.
Steven will be delivering a children law update at the event being jointly hosted with Coles Miller Solicitors on 27 September 2019.
