Imogen Robins MClArb, Barrister

Imogen Robins is a distinguished family law specialist renowned for her expertise in family finance, serving high-net-worth (HNW) divorcing couples. Her practice centres on handling complex financial cases, which include inherited wealth, property portfolios, family businesses, significant pensions, trusts, and pre-nuptial agreements. She is also instructed in cases under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.
Imogen has a keen interest in later life divorce and “silver splitters”, recognising the need for solutions focussed resolutions for the more mature. She has written and lectured extensively on The Menopause and the intersection with family law.
In addition to her core practice, Imogen has a keen interest in non-court dispute resolution. She is a family law arbitrator in financial remedies, carefully resolving family disputes through the non-court dispute resolution process. She accepts instructions as an FDR evaluator.
George Mathieson, Director, Strategic Partnerships

George Mathieson founded Mathieson Consulting Ltd (MCL) in 2007, as a company specialising in the provision of expert witness reports in the field of pensions and divorce and has personally written c. 3,500 such reports. He was a founder of the Pension Advisory Group, which was a multi-disciplinary body of lawyers, judges, actuaries, financial advisers, and academics, which produced the seminal work on how pensions should be dealt with within divorce proceedings and has now been adopted by Courts across England and Wales as “best practice.”
His current role is as a Consultant for MCL, and Divisional Director for MCL’s parent company, RBC Brewin Dolphin, where his responsibilities include being actively involved with lawyers advising them how a divorce settlement (pertaining to pensions) may be best constructed to the benefit of their client.
