3PB’s criminal barristers bring you a trio of enthralling legal experts and additional guest keynote speakers in an afternoon specialist criminal conference to interest, inform and entertain you.

We look forward to welcoming the following confirmed special guests:

• Dr Richard Shepherd, world Famous TV Forensic Pathologist, author of two best-selling books. Dr Shepherd’s fascinating career in forensic pathology has seen him take his story on a national theatre tour. With over 23,000 post-mortems under his belt, Dr Shepherd has worked on some of the most well-known and high profile homicides and natural disasters.
• Dr John Sandford, Consultant Forensic and General Adult Psychiatrist. Dr Sandford has over 25 years’ experience in medico-legal practice, in recent years specialising in criminal reports and homicide cases. He has done over 270 homicide reports and given evidence in numerous cases including R V Conroy [2017].
• Mark Crouch, Head of Investigations at Forensic Collision and Investigations and Reconstruction (FCIR). Mark’s expertise in Forensic Crime Scene reconstruction has led the way in road traffic collision investigations, receiving the Federation of Forensic And Expert Witnesses award for Road Traffic Investigations 2024.
• Lady Edwina Grosvenor, former High Sherriff of Hampshire, Founder and Chair of One Small Thing, a charitable organisation focusing on improving trauma informed criminal justice for women and children. With strong links to the local community, One Small Thing has established Southampton’s hugely successful Hope Street Charity, a pioneering residential community for women and children in the justice system.
• Amelia Riviere, former High Sherriff of Hampshire and magistrate on the North Hampshire Bench. Amelia is a big advocate for volunteers and charities working within the criminal justice system and sits on the board of Trustees for a number of Hampshire charities.
