We are delighted to announce that Callum Church is joining 3PB from another well-known chambers and relocating from Birmingham to  Winchester, further strengthening 3PB's Tier 1 Crime and Regulatory Crime Group.

Callum ChurchCallum ChurchCall: 2018 (call:2014) is a criminal and regulatory practitioner with a practice well ahead of his year of call. He joins after a highly successful period practising as a crime barrister in the Midlands, which saw him shortlisted as Junior Barrister of the Year in 2024 by the Birmingham Law Society. Ranked as a Tier 1 Rising Star for Crime (General & Fraud) by Legal 500 from 2024-2026, Callum is much sought-after as a leading, led, or sole advocate in serious criminal cases.

Callum has a prolific Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) practice, and he deals in heavyweight, complex, multi-handed confiscations for both the prosecution and defence on a regular basis. As well as taking charge of his own confiscation work, following instruction in large-scale investigations at trial, Callum is also instructed post-sentence. Callum represent parties at all stages of the confiscation process, including those involved in pre-charge or enforcement proceedings and he accepts instructions in third party/s.10A proceedings.

Jodie Mittell KC, who co-heads 3PB's now 33-strong crime and regulatory crime group, said: “We look forward to working with Callum after his move to 3PB. He has a great reputation as a prosecution and defence barrister, and a top proceeds of crime specialist, and he will enhance the strength and depth of our already outstanding team.”

The recruitment of Callum follows the announcement last month of Juliet Osborne joining the group as a probationary tenant and the addition of Ben Thompson and Nate Lara as new Crime and Regulatory Crime members in the last twelve months.
