Building a More Inclusive Bar: 3PB and Bridging the Bar Continue Partnership 2026
6th March 2026

3PB Barristers (3 Paper Buildings) is continuing its partnership with Bridging the Bar (BTB) for a further year - reinforcing its long-standing commitment to widening access to the legal profession.
Founded in July 2020, Bridging the Bar is a charity dedicated to supporting aspiring barristers from groups that are statistically underrepresented at the Bar. They work to remove structural barriers by equipping candidates from non-traditional backgrounds with the skills, confidence and professional networks needed to succeed. 3PB first became a partner in 2022.
BTB supports students who may face disadvantage due to factors including disability, ethnicity, socio-economic background, education, sexuality or other underrepresented characteristics. Through mentoring, work experience placements, personal development workshops and access to tailored resources, the charity helps beneficiaries strengthen their prospects of securing pupillage while preparing them for long-term careers at the Bar.
Commercial and chancery barrister at 3PB, Aaron Mayers is Vice Chairperson at Bridging the Bar. Determined to further equality of opportunity at the Bar, Aaron joined the BTB team with the intention of creating positive, tangible change in the profession.
