Graham Gilbert successfully defends Paul Pressland of an allegation of strangling his (then) wife

It was alleged that Mr Pressland had, in a drunken row, strangled his wife after she threw a slipper at her him. Following Graham's closing speech, the jury took less than an hour to acquit Mr Pressland.

The case has attracted widespread press attention, including in the Independent, The Times, the Telegraph and the Daily Mail amongst others.
