3PB's regulatory and disciplinary barrister Sunyana SharmaSunyana SharmaCall: 2006 represented a dental practitioner at misconduct proceedings for allegations of failing to treat colleagues with dignity and respect, in which it was alleged she had bullied and persistently called a colleague with whom her professional relationship had broken down and that she had failed to maintain her professional behaviour by wanting to fight with another colleague. The hearing included successful half time submissions on two of the charges and the General Dental Council (GDC) failed to prove that the registrant’s conduct amounted to bullying.

A finding of no misconduct was found in relation to the remaining allegations which included using offensive language and claiming to be a GDC employee in a telephone call.
