3PB welcomes London family barrister Peter Wilkinson

3PB Barristers (3 Paper Buildings) are delighted to welcome leading family barrister, Peter Wilkinson, to its 90-strong team of family barristers. Peter will be based from 3PB's London office in the Inner Temple. Peter regularly represents clients in the Family Court, High Court and Appeal Courts and also sits as a part-time judge in the First Tier Tribunal (Social Security and Child Support) and in the Family Court for private children and financial remedy proceedings.
Peter Wilkinson is a seasoned family barrister with over twenty years experience in family law disputes. Peter specialises in matrimonial finance cases and is expert in disputed financial settlements and advising on Xydhias agreements. A former managing director and engineer, Peter is frequently instructed in complex financial cases which require detailed scrutiny of financial and corporate assets and his practice focuses on helping high-net worth individuals and those with company, partnership, pension and trust assets.
Peter is very experienced in cases with an international dimension, ranging from international child abduction to overseas marriages, international assets as well as Trust of Land claims between co-habitants and contested matrimonial proceedings, where extended family assets are in dispute. Peter is also much in demand for advice and drafting of pre and post nuptial agreements and Schedule 1 Children Act claims.
Peter is ranked by Legal 500 for divorce and financial remedy and is described as "a strong advocate, who cuts to the chase and uses his wealth of experience to focus on the most relevant issues in a case."
