3PB shortlisted for two awards at the Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards 2025

We are delighted to announce that 3PB’s Andrew Duncan and Matiss Krumins have been shortlisted at the Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards 2025. They have been chosen as finalists for the Family Law Case of the Year.
Matiss Krumins is a specialist family barrister at 3PB with expertise in public law children’s proceedings and judicial review. He is regularly instructed in serious child protection, cross-border and emergency cases, and has appeared in leading decisions up to the Supreme Court, including The Father v Worcestershire CC [2025] UKSC 1. Recognised as a Leading Junior in Child Law by Legal 500, Matiss is known for his clear advocacy and trusted expertise in the most complex and sensitive family law matters.
Andrew Duncan is a family barrister at 3PB specialising in both public and private law children cases. He acts in matters involving non-accidental injury, abuse, parental alienation, domestic violence and international relocation, and has appeared at all levels including the appellate courts. Ranked in Legal 500, Andrew is valued for his robust advocacy and pragmatic approach, and also contributes pro bono work through Not Beyond Redemption, assisting mothers in rebuilding relationships with their children.
