In partnership with members of 3PB’s well-known specialist Insolvency and Bankruptcy team, our LPA Receiverships team has significant experience of acting as counsel in court for lenders, LPA receivers, tenants and borrowers to enforce or deny rights. We have an exceptional track record in supporting LPA receivers on their appointment, powers, responsibilities and challenges from parties - covering all aspects of the ongoing receivership through to the eventual disposal.
Our barristers work closely with registered property receivers, helping to maximise the recovery of the secured loan. A particular advantage of a receivership appointment is the fact that the receiver isn’t liable for non-domestic rates which may immediately increase the monies that are available to be passed to the lender. We understand the potential impact on an investment of an LPA appointment being made and understand that our court strategy may well dovetail with LPA receivers work with tenants.
