Private Law Children, Injunction and Domestic Abuse
Lola-Rose Avery accepts instructions in both private law children and injunction proceedings.
Lola has gained experience in multiple Children Act hearings, including those with serious domestic abuse allegations and Local Authority involvement.
She also has experience in Family Law Act proceedings, representing both applicants and respondents in relation to Non-Molestation Orders, and Occupation Orders.
Care and adoption
Lola happily accepts instructions in public children cases and was exposed to Care proceedings throughout her pupillage, including but not limited to ICOs, CMHs, final hearings and Special Guardianship Orders. Lola has also gained exposure to proceedings involving vulnerable clients and where litigation capacity has been a live issue.
Lola has a pragmatic and compassionate approach and is able to represent Children’s Guardians, parents and Local Authorities.
Lola accepts instructions in financial remedy proceedings and gained exposure in her pupillage to family finance: from FDAs to FDRs and Final Hearings.
Prior to pupillage, Lola qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG and worked at the firm in their forensic investigations team.
Lola therefore brings considerable experience in assessing a variety of financial information and investigations into wealth, investments, shareholdings and individuals' other financial affairs.
"Lola is one of the brightest minds I have had the privilege to work with."
