Victoria advises and represents clients in a wide variety of contract, loan and debt disputes. She regularly appears in both the High Court (including District Registries) and County Courts across the South West.
• Representing a major energy supplier in several actions for the recovery of outstanding debts involving the application of the relevant statutory regimes.
• Representing an individual in proceedings brought against him by a well-known Casino for the recovery of sums alleged to outstanding to it – the trial of this matter is set to be heard in the QBD in April 2012.
• McAllister* v Searle (June 2011) - Appeared on behalf of the Claimant in a two day County Court trial in a claim for the recovery of money paid by way of loan.
• Marstons v Fraser* (December 2010) Represented an individual in an appeal against a refusal to set aside a judgment in default in a claim which related to outstanding debts owed to a brewery.
• Stevens v Sharpley* (November 2010) Represented the Second Defendant in a four day trial in the Bristol District Registry in a claim relating to a land purchase transaction, constructive trusts, and proprietary estoppel.
