Richard is primarily a General Civil practitioner. His practice encompasses all of chambers’ specialist areas, with a particular interest in technical commercial disputes, personal injury and education law.

Richard has carried out a broad range of trials and hearings across the civil and criminal fields, as well as advising and drafting in all of his practice areas. Richard has strong advocacy experience, having practiced in the Criminal courts during his pupillage, and having conducted a wide variety of civil trials.

Prior to joining 3PB, Richard worked as a service improvement manager in the NHS and as an adjudicator with the Financial Ombudsman. His interests include photography, theatre, music and running.
