Family

Natalie accepts instructions in all areas of our family practice group’s remit, including but not limited to:

  • Private Children Act proceedings, concerned with issues including residence, contact, parental responsibility, prohibited steps orders, and change of names
  • Family Law Act injunctions and committal proceedings
  • Care proceedings

She has appeared in both the county court and FPC and at all stages of proceedings.

Of note, Natalie was recently instructed to represent a parent in complex care proceedings involving the potential placement of the child abroad (Hague Convention).

Natalie studied family law at both LLB and LLM level, and has an interest in the law as it relates to cohabiting couples. She completed her LLB dissertation on the subject of cohabitation and the use of resulting and constructive trusts and proprietary estoppel, and further studied this area under the tuition of Professor Kevin Gray at Cambridge University. She is willing to provide written advice on this subject.
