David Marshall's practice has always been concerned with property in the widest sense. For many years he frequently conducted cases concerning building and engineering and the professional negligence of architects and other construction professionals. This has given him a thorough understanding of buildings and their construction. Currently his work is more focussed on legal issues affecting land, such as boundaries, easements and party wall matters.

He has a thorough understanding of computers and information technology and can advise on computer-related matters in appropriate cases.
