Cyrus Katrak is a specialist in personal injury and clinical negligence actions and is the leader of the 3PB Personal Injury Group.

He has acted for both Claimants and Defendants in many high profile cases including the British Coal Respiratory Disease Litigation, the 3M Hip Implant cases, the Paddington and Potters Bar Rail Disaster and has also conducted a large number of industrial injury cases including asbestosis, hearing loss and vibration white finger injuries. Cases against the MOD and MIB form a significant area of work.

Examples of his work over the last 12 months include claims involving head injuries of maximum severity, hospital MRSA infection, plastic surgery complications and proceedings arising out of alleged sexual abuse.

Cyrus Katrak was instructed as first junior to Nicholas Leviseur on the Capper Pass Claims Review Scheme involving industrial disease claims. Between them, the team handled 39 cases under the Scheme the majority of which were brought by the representatives of long since deceased workers from a single plant which operated in Humberside until the early 1980s.

Written articles include a number for the Motor Accident Solicitor's Society and the Personal Injury Law Journal.

He also lectures to many solicitors and other professional bodies. Engagements include the Lyons Davidson Whiplash Seminar and the Motor Accident Solicitors' Society (on road traffic accidents abroad). He has a particular interest in cases involving allegations of exaggeration/malingering.
