Carl joined Chambers in 2007 following the completion of his pupillage at 3PB. He is a civil practitioner with experience of advisory work, drafting and advocacy both in the County Courts, High Court and ADR. Carl is an accredited mediation advocate.

Carl specialises in construction law, contractual disputes, property law and landlord and tenant law disputes. He accepts instructions on a conditional fee basis. Carl has contributed to Casetrack and is currently working on a project with the RICS to update its case database.

Before coming to the Bar Carl studied Russian and Politics, worked in a busy solicitors’ office and then joined a city based consultancy firm providing independent corporate governance research and advice. He has both taught and lived abroad.
