Christopher Aylwin appeared in the Court of Appeal on behalf of the successful appellant in the recent case of Gallarotti v Sebastianelli [2012] EWCA Civ 865, described by Lady Justice Arden in her judgement as a case of "...wide interest".

The appeal concerned the principles to be applied in establishing the interests of parties who were neither husband and wife nor business partners, who had combined to purchase a property together under the terms of a common intention constructive trust. The case is reported on Lawtel and Bailii.
