Groundbreaking Guidance for Seafarers

Ian Lawrie QC and Oliver Powell have been instructed by Seafarers’ Rights International (www.seafarersrights.org) to draft a comprehensive advice and guidance manual for seafarers. The manual covers investigations and prosecutions bought by the police and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, together with investigations by the Marine Accident Investigation Branch. The manual is the first part of a planned sequence of manuals that will cover a number of international jurisdictions with the aim of assisting seafarers around the globe.
