Mr Justice Patten gave judgment today in the Chancery Division in Hallisey v Petmoor Developments, a case of Paul Letman's involving a point of landlord and tenant law. It concerned whether part of a roof terrace of a block of flats, which was within the demise of the top floor tenant, could also be regarded as part of the "structure" for which the landlord was responsible. The case has since been reported in The Times, 7/11/00 and at [2000] EGCS 124.
